The Karl Lemmerman Award recognizes outstanding first-year writers at Case Western Reserve University. The Award carries with it a $100 cash prize and an invitation to the Spring English Department Awards Ceremony.
Submission deadline for the Award is mid-spring every year (around Spring Break). To submit an essay for consideration for the Award, please contact Professor Mary Grimm, Director of Undergraduate Studies in English, who administers the program.
