The Center for the Study of Writing (CSW) is a flexible, cross-disciplinary center that fosters connections between innovative writing research and sound pedagogical practices, and between specialized faculty expertise and the needs and interests of aspiring undergraduate and graduate students.
What's New at the CSW
A generous gift in November 2007 from Edward and Melinda Sadar has endowed the following CSW-administered annual programs, to begin in 2008-09:
An unrestricted gift in 2006 from Marilyn McCulloch will fund a series of lectures in the history and theory of writing in 2008-09.
These gifts will also enable the CSW to plan an inaugural Writing Week, featuring a celebration of student writing and faculty work on writing, in 2009.
