After receiving my Ph.D. in Language, Rhetoric,
and Writing from the English Department at University of Maryland,
College Park in 1995, I was appointed Visiting Assistant
Professor and Director of Writing Programs at York College in
1996. I came to Case Western Reserve University in 1997 as Assistant
Professor of English and Director of Composition.
My areas of specialization include rhetorical theory and criticism, linguistics, and cognitive science.
I am currently Associate Professor of English with a secondary appointment in Cognitive
Science. |
