==========
The official Friends of English website (friendsofenglish.org) has been silent most of the previous year, as its developer, Prof. Marling has been teaching at the American University in Beirut. However, we expect it to light up soon. Meanwhile, you can still use it to buy books and anything else amazon.com sells and at the same time support English department activities. If you go to Amazon via the link on the site, a small portion of the normal purchase price on any item gets returned to the Friends of English
