Megan Swihart Jewell

 

Megan Swihart Jewell has her Ph.D from Duquesne University in Nineteenth and Twentieth Century American Literature. She also holds a graduate certificate in Women's and Gender Studies from Duquesne, and served for two years as the university's Writing Center Director. Her research focuses primarily on twentieth-century poetry and its intersections with academic discourses. Her teaching takes place among SAGES, English, and Women's and Gender Studies. Courses to date have focused on topics such as American working-class literature, language poetry and writing pedagogy, and feminist poetics.
