The Munich Experience

What Do I Contribute?
Speak German * Hear German * Eat German * Drink German * Write German * Read German * Think German * Dream German . . .
Start each day by sharing your diary entry, telling the latest joke you heard, reflecting upon your experiences and discussing your thoughts.

Draw, scribble, doodle, and sketch. . . . You'll be surprised at what happens once you really start to look.

Be the expert on one particular topic, such as Baroque architecture or the Munich's policy on recycling. You will give one or more short presentations while in Germany and write a paper after the end of the program.

Choose your favorite painting in the world-famous Pinakothek and give a five-minute talk about what it tells you.

Trace yesterday's walk on a medieval town map, copy a baroque tombstone inscription, explain Drop/Add-Day to a class of German students!

"Going to a beer hall or kneipe or disco is a great way to meet people. Asking dumb questions (directions, etc.) works equally well!"
