Tatiana Zilotina has been a Full-time Lecturer in Russian in the Department of Modern Languages and Literatures at Case Western Reserve University since 2000. She teaches first-, second- and third-year courses in Russian language, literature, and culture.
She received her B.A. in English (1981) from Minsk State Linguistic University in Belarus, and her M.A. (1996) and Ph.D. (2002) from the University of Virginia. Both her Master's thesis and her doctoral dissertation were written on the work of Marina Tsvetaeva, one of the greatest Russian poets of the twentieth century. Prior to coming to the USA, Tatiana taught English in Latvia. Currently, she is teaching Beginning and Intermediate Russian and Introduction to Russian Literature.
