The Center for Science and Mathematics Education in the College of Arts and Sciences serves as a clearinghouse for the wide variety of pre-college programs at Case Western Reserve University and as a coordinating body for outstanding programs housed at the university.

National Youth Sports Program

Affiliated with the NCAA, this is a five-week summer sports and enrichment program for children of low-income families in the greater Cleveland area, ages 10-16. It has been running on the CASE campus for thirty years. Activities include basketball, swimming, and other athletic events; presentations on health and physical fitness; tutoring and instruction of reading, mathematics, science and other academic subjects; and discussions of opportunities in higher education.
