Project STEP-UP
Students participating in the Student Tutoring Effort to Promote Utilization of Potential tutor and mentor pupils from targeted public schools in Cleveland and East Cleveland Tutoring activities take place at schools, libraries, and other community-based organizations. Participating pupils are also provided with opportunities to attend field trips and participate in community service projects with their mentors.

Gettin’ on the Six
Through this program, Case students use their RTA bus passes to provide community service through schools, churches, libraries, and other agencies along the bus lines passing through University Circle

CASECorps
CASECorps is a community service program affiliated with AmeriCorps National Service. It provides an intensive opportunity for students from institutions of higher education in University Circle to provide full-time service to the Greater Cleveland community during the summer. CASECorps members are assigned to one of five tracks: Members of the environmental track address Northeast Ohio’s environmental priorities by fostering community education about and stewardship of polluted urban watersheds through water quality monitoring, school and community-based environmental education programs, and environmental service projects. Members in the public health track address Northeast Ohio’s public health priorities by providing community education about public health issues to inner city and inner ring suburban residents. Members in the literacy and technology tracks provide tutoring and training in computer use to youth at inner-city libraries and community centers. Members of the arts track provide art, theater, and instrumental lessons to children at inner-city recreation and community centers.
