Please join us, Friday, March 30, 2007, 1:00p.m. - 2:00p.m
EST, as we continue to learn about the perils faced by
the world's amphibians in our final of three distance learning
programs with Kathy Duffey Krynak of the Cleveland Metroparks
Zoo/Rainforest. Ms. Krynak is actively working to save frogs
around the globe. Of particular interest are the Golden Frogs of
Panama, but Ms. Krynak is hoping to save as many amphibians as
possible by preserving species in her lab and others around the
country.
Classrooms at Firelands Elementary School (Firelands
District-Lorain County), Empire Computech Elementary School
(Cleveland Municipal School District, Cuyahoga County), and
Carylwood Elementary School (Bedford City Schools, Cuyahoga
County), will interact with Ms. Krynak and share their results
related to the growing of insect cultures to support the
residents of the amphibian lab at theCleveland Metroparks
Zoo/Rainforest.
