The Department of Psychological Sciences, Program of Communication Sciences prepares undergraduate and graduate students to address broad issues of human communication processes and disorders through the application of cutting-edge technology and rigorous clinical training. We provide a comprehensive foundation in normal and disordered human communication and combine it with innovative interdisciplinary experiences that capitalize on the extensive resources of the University and medical community that surround the Department.

Congratulations to Stephanie Onuoha on being selected as a participant in the American-Speech-Language-Hearing Association’s (ASHA) Minority Student Leadership Program.
As one of 32 national participants, Stephanie received a travel award from ASHA to attend its annual convention in San Diego this November. There, she will interact with leaders in the professions of audiology, speech language pathology and speech, language and hearing sciences while participating in educational programs and activities designed to build and enhance leadership skills.
