The laboratory projects explore different aspects of normal and disordered speech production, by
analysis of prosodic contours for applications to speech synthesis, and research on mechanisms of speech motor control and timing coordination among articulators, for applications to biomechanical simulation of the vocal tract and to improvement of speech therapy for speech motor disorders.
