Donations this year are very promising.  We presently have a large quantity of Judaica, an extensive collection of very high quality books on angling, and a body of collectable items on boating, both sail and power. A text book donation is the most extensive in years, distinguished by their depth, quality and currency.

...our headliners in the 2008 Sale:
In the Collectables auction, a 1939 Dr. Seuss, a photo study of pre-Holocaust Eastern Europe (A Vanished World), a signed first edition of Reading Lolita in Tehran, and a suede-bound collection of photographs of premier Japanese rustic pottery.
Across the Sale, holdings range from Children's books, an original set of the Harvard Classics, books for home schooling, military histories, biographies, significant donations on fishing and boating, Art books of all kinds, and volumes on musicians, music, and sheet music. The softcover offerings, always vast, have extensive holdings about jazz and the Beat Generation.

Donations arrive every week. As things stand now, we estimate we'll have between 65,000 and 72,000 books in the Sale. Treasures, such as first editions and signed copies, are in the mix.
