Paul (B.A., Michigan State University, M.A. and Ph.D. from The Ohio State University in Classical Studies) regularly teaches upper level Greek and Latin, both lecture and SAGES courses dealing with Myth and Heroes, and Greek and Latin palaeography and epgiraphy. His research interests and publications are in the areas of Greek and Roman New Comedy, Hellenistic Culture & Society, and Greek Epigraphy (for the latter he was a Long-Term Contributor, 1990-2005, to the Packard Humanities Institute Greek Epigraphy Project, a database of Ancient Greek inscriptions which may be accessed at: http://epigraphy.packhum.org/inscriptions/). He currently is the Director of Epigraphical finds for the Isparta Archaeological Survey and has two book projects: one is working on a monograph studying the inscriptions of the Archaeological Museum of Isparta, while the other is monograph studying Menander's relationship to Tragedy entitled Tragoidizing Life: Menander and the Subversion of Tragedy.
