This course will introduce students to the study of Landscape Archaeology through hands-on fieldwork on an actual archaeological survey called the Isparta Archaeological Survey in the region of Isparta, Turkey. This will include the analysis of the archaeological material found through Geographic Information Systems (GIS), especially the new inscriptions, which will be prepared for online publication. The first week and a half of the course will take place on the main campus, and the remainder in the region of Isparta. .
