Older newsletter are also available in the newsletter archive. Student achievementsPreethi Mani'07 was the first prize winner of the SOURCE Poster competition this year. Preethi works in the lab of Radhika Atit in Biology. Her poster entitled "Wnt/Wnt situation: Wnt signal transduction in craniofacial dermal development" is on display outside Millis 318. Preethi has worked in the Atit lab since her first year in college, and she is planning to attend medical school after graduation. Jennifer Ohtola '06 was the first prize winner of the Michelson-Morley competition in the Biology Department. Jennifer works on the role of Wnt signaling in belly-side dermal development. Jennifer graduated this year and is planning to attend an MD or a MD/PhD program next year. Faculty in the newsRadhika AtitDr. Radhika Atit was featured in Case News on September 28, 2007, for her research about the development of the craniofacial dermis in mouse embryos, which is the topic of a 5-year, $1.6 million study funded by the NIH.
