Dr. Costa Petridis spent the summer in Cleveland where he continued researching and writing Art and Power in Central Africa: Figure Sculptures from the Chiefdoms of the Southern Savanna, to be published in conjunction with an exhibition at the Cleveland Museum of Art. During the past academic year Dr. Petridis gave lectures at the Nelson-Atkins Museum in Kansas City and the Art Gallery of Ontario in Toronto, and chaired a panel at the 33rd Midwest Art History Society Conference in Dallas.
