The undergraduate Health Sciences major in anthropology focuses on health issues, tackling the project of understanding these issues in a cross-cultural
context.
This emphasis first gives you a foundational knowledge of anthropology, and then pushes you to investigate, analyze, and communicate how socio-cultural,
biological, cognitive, economic, and techno-environmental factors determine patterns of disease, medical behavior, and the organizaiton of and access to
health care services.
