UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH AND ACCOMPLISHMENTS

2007/2008

Erin Benson Participated in field season at the Woranso-Mille Paleontological site in the central Afar region of Ethiopia. Project was directed by Yohannes Haile-Selassie, Curator of Physical Anthropology at the Cleveland Museum of Natural History along with Bruce Latimer, Museum Director. Support was provided by Cyrus Taylor, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences.

Kyle Lovell Selected by the Cleveland Museum of Natural History to receive financial support to participate in an excavation at Mislaya Cave in Israel.
Sarah Robinson Selected by the Cleveland Museum of Natural History to receive financial support to participate in an excavation at Mislaya Cave in Israel.
Jeremy Safran Accepted to the summer research program at the Harvard Cognitive Evolution Laboratory headed by Professor Marc Hauser.
Anna Wieser Accepted to and attended a landscape archaeology and geoarchaeological borehole survey field school in Corsica over the summer, run by the University of Washington in cooperation with the University of Winchester (UK) and the University of Corte (Corsica).
