College of Arts and Sciences Alumni Weekend Events
The College of Arts and Sciences is heir to 178 years of excellence in education. The origin of the present-day College of Arts and Sciences was the founding in 1826 of Western Reserve College, one of the nation's first private liberal arts colleges. The college today is a product of the federation in 1967 of Western Reserve University and Case Institute of Technology into Case Western Reserve University; the college model was reconstituted in 1993.
The legacy of the present-day College of Arts and Sciences can be traced through its distinguished predecessor institutions:
* Adelbert College
* Cleveland College
* Flora Stone Mather College for Women
* School of Graduate Studies
* Western Reserve College
* Western Reserve University
* Math and science programs of Case Institute of Technology
The college is proud of its rich educational heritage and our more than 30,000 graduates. The College of Arts and Sciences invites all Adelbert College, Cleveland College, Flora Stone Mather College, and Western Reserve College alumni to all of our events.
