Any advice for future CWRU alumni?
An education in physics was terrific preparation for the corporate world, where impossible problems abound, and partial credit in pursuit of impossible goals is often enough to be wildly successful.
What does being a Case Western Reserve University alumna mean to you?
Education is a pathway to the future, and I strongly believe that the education I received at Case Western Reserve University shaped my destiny. It's time to help the next generation!
What did you do right after graduation?
I joined Hewlett Packard (HP) as an analytical products service engineer, one of the first women that HP hired for this position. Working on quarter-of-a-million dollar mass spectrometers with high vacuum, high pressures, liquids, gases, mechanical and electrical challenges, I wielded a wrench as well as my physicist’s brain with wild abandon!
