Spartans new Head Coach Jennifer Reimer has all the right moves for advancing the Women's Basketball team in 2008.
Jennifer Reimer joined Case Western Reserve on September 6, 2007. Reimer, who was Allegheny College’s head coach prior to Case Western Reserve, was a four-year starting point-guard at Lycoming College in Williamsport, Pa. where she was a two-year team captain and left as the schools second all-time assist leader. Prior to graduating, she received the Female Scholar Athlete of the Year award. In her first season at Allegheny, Reimer led the Gators to a 20-6 season with a 13-3 record in the North Coast Athletic Conference. The Gators would continue to chomp their opponents under Reimer’s guidance, as over the last six years, Allegheny has averaged 17 wins a season and has never won less than ten games in conference play. The all-time winningest basketball coach in Allegheny history also helped lead the Gators to six North Coast Athletic Conference semi-finals throughout her tenure, including the title game last season.
To date, the women's basketball team record is 7 to 4.
