Join alumna Janice Eatman-Williams and others for an unforgettable opportunity to make a difference in the lives
of the residents of New Orleans.
More than 2 years after the initial devastation of Hurricane Katrina many in the city are still struggling to rebuild their homes and lives. The New Orleans service trip will provide volunteers a chance to work with multiple area agencies committed to preserving history and restoring the community.
On the last day of the trip there will be a reception at Ralph and Kacoos open to all CWRU alumni living in New Orleans.
Participants will be responsible for covering their transportation, lodging, and meals not covered at sites.
Underwriting opportunities are also available to help ease
the monetary burden for students. Interested donors should contact Janice Eatman-Williams at the Center for Civic Engagement.

The Alumni House
The Alumni House was officially dedicated on Thursday, October 4, at the beginning of the 2007 Alumni and Homecoming Weekend. A ribbon cutting ceremony, performed by President Snyder, and reception marked the historic occasion. That weekend over 600 people toured the house and to-date over 1,100 alumni, students, faculty, staff and community members have come through the front doors.
The Alumni House, the first-ever dedicated space for alumni on the Case Western Reserve University campus, is open from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Alumni are always welcome and
can avail themselves of any of the many house amenities,
including a business center, and various sized meeting rooms. Designed to accommodate small to medium university connected groups for meetings and receptions, alumni are invited to stop by and visit the house whenever they are on campus.
Those interested in reserving meeting or event space at The Alumni House can e-mail alumnihouse@case.edu with your event date, beginning and
ending time of event, and technical requests.
