Alumni Association of Case Western Reserve University Supports Case for Community Day - September 21, 2007

On Friday, September 21, 2007, Case Western Reserve will host the 5th Annual Case for Community Day! The event serves as the university's campus-wide community service day that enables Case employees, students and local alumni to serve as volunteers to help make a positive difference in Cleveland.

Each year, the campus chooses from an assortment of volunteer opportunities ranging from arts and crafts with youth, landscaping the homes of Cleveland residents, working with senior residents at local agencies and providing clerical and administrative assistance at small non-profit organizations. Nearly 1,400 faculty, staff, students and local alumni have participated as volunteers with nearly 200 local non-profit organizations since its inception.

The day would not be complete without alumni involvement and all alumni are invited to join their alma mater in this day of rewarding service. Stay tuned to the university's website for opportunities to register on-line in early September. To learn more about how Case Western Reserve University - your alma mater is engaged in the community, visit www.case.edu/community today. We look forward to seeing you on campus!
