Continue our proud tradition by making an Annual Fund gift today!
Case Western Reserve Athletic Annual Fund
A reality of today is that external funding is a critical component in the success of America's universities. Tuition dollars only cover so much, and very many of the outstanding buildings, projects, programs and activities on college campuses around the country are only made possible through the generosity of caring alumni and friends. There are multiple university giving options, but one of the most important is the Annual Fund, which touches all individuals participating in a program. The Annual Fund is important to all aspects of campus, even athletics.
The Case Western Reserve University Athletic Annual Fund has been in existence for less than two years, but has already brought over $70,000 in external funding to the Athletic Department. These funds are used for special opportunities, above what is in the department budget. Donations, large and small, have benefited the Athletic Department in a variety of ways, including upgrading facilities, improving programs, team travel and publications. Involvement in the Athletic Annual Fund has enhanced the student athletic experience at Case Western Reserve. The gifts have benefited the 500 students who participate in our 19 varsity sports, the 300 who play club sports, the 2,000 who are involved in intramurals and the 3,000 who take courses in the Department of Physical Education. Lastly, the athletic facilities that are impacted buy the annual fund are also used by members of the university family who are not a part of the Athletic Department, as well as our community partners.
Help continue our strong tradition of athletics by making your gift today!

Alumni Views on Issues of Interest in the Case Community
Case Western Reserve University has not changed its name, but a few years ago it did embark on a campaign to introduce a new logo, mark and graphic identity.
Because these identifiers have been generating significant conversation among members of the university community, Interim President Gregory L. Eastwood, M.D., has created a Branding Task Group (BTG). This group of univers ity trustees, faculty, students, staff and alumni has been charged with reviewing previous research related to the graphic identity, conducting new research and evaluating the financial impact of the current wordmark, logo and nomenclature.
