UNE names new president to begin July 2006 Foundation names financial officer
Michael Port is the new chief financial officer of the National Inventors Hall of Fame Foundation. Port has held financial and operational posts with various Northeast Ohio companies, including Ernst & Young, Hitachi Medical Systems America and Oglebay Norton Co. Most recently, Port was divisional controller for the Titanium Group of RTI International Metals.
An Ohio native and a resident of Solon, Port earned his undergraduate degree from Ohio State University and his MBA from Case Western Reserve University.
The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD), the recognized leader in children's dental health, confirmed the following President and new Officers for the AAPD Board of Trustees during its 59th Annual Session in Cincinnati.
Dr. Donald V. Huebener, DDS is the new At-Large Trustee for the American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD)
Dr. Huebener serves as the chairman of the Pediatric Dentistry at Southern Illinois University's School of Dental Medicine and is the Director of Pediatric Dentistry at St. Louis Children's Hospital. He attended dental school at Washington University School of Dentistry, received his pediatric dental certification at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital at the University Hospitals of Cleveland, and has a MA in Education from the Washington University Institute as well as an MS in Histopathology from Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Huebener has served in many roles throughout his career, notably as a diplomate of the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry, consultant to the Kingdom of Thailand of Development of Cleft Lip/Palate and Craniofacial Programs as well as consultant to the Queen Sirikit National Children's Hospital for Pediatric Dentistry in Bangkok. Dr. Huebener is a lifelong resident of St. Louis, Mo. He is an avid skier and enjoys many outdoor activities. He also appreciates English literature and collects British landscape art.
