• The new clinical study (DMID-08-0023) entitled "A Pilot Study to Evaluate Nucleic Acid Amplification and Other Tests to Monitor the Effectiveness of Tuberculosis Treatmen" began enrollment in Uganda, June 2008. This study is being conducted cooporatively by the NIH/TBRU and the Centers for Disease Control's Tuberculosis Trials Consortium.
