Situated at Bellflower Road, we're in the heart of University Circle. From our house it's about a 15 minute walk to the CWRU quad, 5 minutes to CIM and CIA, 2 minutes to Arabica and the Barking Spider!

But let us introduce our house: Ours is a HOME away from home for students from almost everywhere. Currently we have 21 members from all around the world: Ethiopia, Thailand, Syria, India, Panama, Egypt, Bulgaria, the United States, the Netherlands, Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Greece, Turkey and Germany.

STEINER HOUSE is a student-run cooperative (i.e. we share all tasks, such as cooking and cleaning), offering housing for graduate students from Case Western Reserve University, the Cleveland Institute of Music, the Cleveland Institute of Art, Cleveland State University, and the Montessori Institute. Our house provides single rooms at $340 monthly and double rooms at $315 monthly (may be subject to change without notice), with full board, free parking, daily delivery of The New York Times and The Plain Dealer, ping pong, board games, satellite TV and VCR, and free laundry facilities. Most new residents start off living in a double room, and the single rooms-when available-are offered to senior members first and then the new residents.

But what's more, we enjoy the international atmosphere created by 21 students (male and female) from various parts of the world, exchanging ideas, culture, and food! Be part of our multicultural, multilingual house, and you'll never be lonely! In Steiner House, friendships have been established that last much longer than the people's stay in the house.
