The museum is open the second Sunday of the month from 2:00PM to 5:00PM. There is no admission fee. Closed if Sunday falls on a national holiday. On scheduled Tuesday program nights the museum is staffed 1 hour prior to time shown.
The Solon Historical Society is located in the 1899 former Pioneer Memorial Presbyterian Church. Established in 1968. President James A. Garfield preached on this site in the church that the current museum building replaced. An Ohio Historical Marker has been delivered and will be dedicated in the Spring of 2012.
