Lakeview's history is filled with the names of those who made great contributions
to the area and nation's industrial, civic, social and cultural development.
Encompassed within the 285-acre tract are several memorials of architectural
significance including John D. Rockefeller, John Hay, Charles F. Brush
and the granite memorial dedicated to the children and teachers who died
in the Collinwood School fire of 1908.
