A branch of the Peninsula Library & Historical Society, the Cuyahoga Valley Historical Museum is located on the second floor of the historic Boston Township Hall. This building, built in 1877 as Peninsula High School, was designed by noted Cleveland architect John Eisenmann, co-designer of the Cleveland Arcade and designer of Ohio's state flag. The museum features exhibits and artifacts that document the history of the Cuyahoga Valley centered around the historic canal villages of Peninsula, Boston, and Everett.
