Hours of operation: Monday - Friday 10:00 a.m.- 4:30 p.m.and Sundays 1:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m. Special times can be arranged for groups of more than l0 people.

The museum of the city of Lorain is located in the l906 Neoclassical Revival style home of former Mayor Leonard M. Moore. Examples of some of the museum's displays are items belonging to Lorain's first mayor, Conrad Reid; lighthouses of Lorain: photo display of the 1924 Lorain tornado; exhibits on the industries and businesses, past and present of Lorain; a large calendar plate collection; and period fashions.
Lorain research materials and photos are on site. Admission is charged. Handicapped accessible first floor, video of second floor.
