The Mahler Museum, a Berea sandstone dwelling built in 1854, was named in honor of local businessman and benefactor Otto Mahler. The house is decorated and furnished in the late Victorian period. Exhibits include a replica of Gray’s Candy Kitchen, artifacts from Berea’s sandstone quarries, an 8-foot Victorian dollhouse and an automobile built in Berea in 1898.
