Student Online Parking Permit System

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS SYSTEM IS ONLY INTENDED FOR STUDENTS. THOSE WHO HAVE FACULTY, EMPLOYEE OR OTHER ID CARDS AND ARE REGISTERED FOR CLASSES ARE NOT ELIGIBLE FOR THE ONLINE PERMIT SYSTEM

2013-2014 Academic Year

Important information:
Parking permits will not be renewed or sold without valid vehicle information: license plate #, state registered, make/model, year, and color of the vehicle.
Parking permits will not be renewed or sold to any student with outstanding parking violations. All violations must be paid in order to renew or purchase parking.

Avoid the lines – have your permit mailed

Parking permits will be mailed one week prior to the start date selected by the permit holder.
Students renewing a current permit and wish to utilize the mail option must follow directions in their renewal emails.

Renewals

Permit renewal (Fall 2013) ~ students with permits expiring at the end of the fall semester will receive a renewal email by Wednesday, May 8, 2013.
To renew your current parking permit follow the directions in your renewal email no later than 4:00pm on Friday, May 31, 2013.
Failure to renew by the cutoff date will result in forfeiture of your space.

Friday, August 30, 2013: Last day to pick-up purchased permits at Access Services.
Any permits not picked-up by the deadline will be refunded and offered to the next person on the waitlist.

FIRST COME FIRST SERVE PARKING PERMITS (STUDENTS ONLY)

On June 6th students may purchase parking permits using the Online Parking System, beginning at 12:01am or in person at Access Services at 9:00am.
Your parking option depends on whether you will be attending a graduate or undergraduate student program. Below you will find instructions on using the online parking system.
Parking permits are sold with the option of 2 expiration dates (end of fall or spring semester).
Undergraduate commuterparking options are: Lot 46 NRV Garage (north quad), Lot 47 Murray Hill Road (south quad)
Residential parking options are: Lot 46R (the NRV garage) for North side residents, Lots 5 or 57 for South side residents
Graduate commuter parking options on for the south side are n quad include: Lot 44 and Lot 53 (Veale Garage)
Graduate commuters parking for North Side are: Lot 29 (KSL/Thwing Garage) and Lot 46 (NRV Garage)

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

You must choose the permit that has the start and end dates that you want. Our system also allows us to mail the permit to you. Please be sure that you choose the correct address to which you want the permit mailed. Permits will not be mailed to University addresses.

Permits that are requested to be mailed, will be mailed 10 days prior to start date of the permit.

DEADLINE TO PICK UP YOUR PERMIT FROM ACCESS SERVICES--- by 4pm, Friday, August 30, 2013
FAILURE TO PICK UP YOUR PERMIT WILL RESULT IN FORFEITURE OF YOUR PARKING SPACE.

Permits not picked up will be charged a $25.00 restocking fee and refunded the remaining balance.

Forfeited permits will be sold to students on the waiting list.
