Chris Mather Chris Mather is a Vice President focused on electronics, nanotechnology, entrepreneurship and engineering education of NorTech, Northeast Ohio's technology based economic development organization. He joined NorTech in 2004 after 25 years in sales, marketing and general management of high tech electronics businesses. Mr. Mather came to Northeast Ohio in 1996 as President of Gould Instrument Systems in Valley View, and later became Chief Executive Officer of Apsco Inc. in Perry. Most recently, Mr. Mather was President/CEO of Ion Optics, Inc., a Waltham, MA based maker of MEMS based infrared devices, where he raised $6.4 million in venture capital and led the company into defense and sensor markets. Mr. Mather holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, Worcester, MA. |
