Central Leadership
The Department of Medicine is currently facing enormous changes
that will impact our roles in education, research, and patient
care. The aging and diversity of the population will create
new health care needs and demands, while rapid advances in technology
will fundamentally alter our capabilities.
The methods and approaches used in training physicians, the
relationship among our research programs and the design of clinical
care will all need examination if they are to meet the changing
demands. To face these challenges, the Department of Medicine
has assembled a core group of leaders to establish direction
and determine the means to maintain our position at the cutting
edge of education, research and patient care.
Below are links to biographical information on this core group
of leaders.
